Becky & Mark were first time homebuyers that found us through the Dave Ramsey Endorsed Local Provider program.  Like many do, they asked Ramsey’s ELP program to lead them to a trusted local agent they can hire as their agent.

When I first met Becky, they weren’t actually ready to buy a home.  Wisely, she had started researching the process and agents over a year before they were ready to buy.  This gave her plenty of time to get to know me and our team, as well as the areas they might want to live.  We corresponded about different areas and styles of homes that might work for them quite a bit over this time.  

When the time finally came to buy, Mark & Becky had all their “ducks in a row.”  Their year of preparing had given them patience and realistic expectations for their new home.  They had no problem avoiding the disappointment of “champagne taste on a beer budget” that plagues people who jump right into buying with no preparation.

When the smoke cleared, Becky & Mark ended up with more home than they expected that exceeded their wants and met their needs perfectly.  I’ve spoken with them several times since their purchase, and I love hearing them tell of enjoying family holidays and get togethers in their new home.  It’s great transactions like theirs that make my job truly rewarding.

We found Ron Henderson's team through the Dave Ramsey ELP referral.  Our first contact was just to talk about the possibility of purchasing a home.  We were impressed that Ron's team didn't "bug" us before we were ready, but instead, sent timely reminders that they were still ready to help us  whenever we decided. Sure enough, when we called and said we were ready, Ron met with us and his buyers' team went into action. It felt like we were working with old friends.  They understood our needs and our desires and helped us figure out a way to make the two come together satisfactorily. Once we decided on a new home, they were all so excited for us.  We never felt like we were taking up their time. Instead, they walked us through each step, sometimes repeating themselves, to ease our nerves as we got to the final closing time. Thank you, especially, to Ron, Scott and Courtney for your diligent and patient work. We were also impressed with their negotiation skills.  They know the area very well and are honest about their dealings. They never tried to "upsell" us beyond our budget. We couldn't have worked with a better team as we bought our FIRST home!
